Kota Ranger Favored in Brunei Super League Clash at Wijaya

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Brunei (Interstat) — High-flying Kota Ranger will look to solidify its position near the top of the Brunei Super League table when it visits a struggling Wijaya side on Saturday.

The matchup, set for Jan. 24, 2026, pits one of the league’s most potent attacks against a defense that has been prone to heavy defeats this season.

Kota Ranger (5-2-1) enters the contest unbeaten in its last seven matches, though it was held to a 2-2 draw at Indera SC in its most recent outing on Jan. 11. That result snapped a three-game winning streak that showcased the team’s explosive offense. In the matches preceding the draw, Kota Ranger routed Brunei FC 6-1 and Jerudong FC 5-2.

Its season highlight remains a staggering 19-0 victory over Hawa FC in October. The Rangers have scored 39 goals in eight matches, by far the league’s best output.
