Fleetwood Town vs Cheltenham Town

Fleetwood Town, Cheltenham Town Set for League Two Clash

FLEETWOOD, England (Interstat) — Fleetwood Town hosts Cheltenham Town in an English League Two fixture on Tuesday, with both sides looking to build momentum for the final stretch of the season.

The match at Highbury Stadium pits a Fleetwood side coming off a road draw against a Cheltenham team that has struggled for consistency.

Fleetwood (1-1 draw at Gillingham on Saturday) is unbeaten in its last three league matches, including a 1-0 victory at Walsall last Tuesday. Its form has been mixed since late January, however, with three wins, three losses and three draws in its last nine across all competitions.

Cheltenham arrives after a dramatic 2-2 home draw with Barrow on Friday, conceding a stoppage-time equalizer. That result extended its current run to just one win in its last eight League Two games (1-5-2). Its most recent victory was a 3-2 result over Salford City on Feb. 21.

The recent head-to-head favors the visitors. Cheltenham won the last meeting 2-0 at home on Oct. 4, 2025.

In the table, both teams are positioned in the mid-to-lower half. A win for either could provide a crucial boost ahead of a congested fixture list.

According to Interstat’s game simulator, the most likely outcome is a 1-1 draw.

For Cheltenham, key attacker Rob Street will be one to watch. He scored both goals in the draw with Barrow, taking his league tally to 14 for the campaign.

Fleetwood will rely on the recent form of midfielder Brendan Sarpong-Wiredu, who scored the equalizer at Gillingham and netted the winner at Walsall.

INJURY CONCERNS Fleetwood reported no new injuries after the Gillingham match. Cheltenham manager Michael Duff said defender Curtis Davies is being assessed after coming off late on Friday.

WHAT’S NEXT Both teams face a quick turnaround. Next Saturday, Fleetwood hosts Tranmere Rovers, while Cheltenham travels to Shrewsbury Town.

The match kicks off at 7:45 p.m. local time (1945 GMT).
