BALA, Wales (Interstat) — Bala Town FC and Llanelli Town played to a 0-0 draw in the Welsh Premier League on Friday at Maes Tegid. The result did little to aid either side’s standing, with Bala Town now at 6-11-7 and Llanelli Town at 2-19-4 in league play.

The match, devoid of goals, saw three yellow cards issued. Substitute Joe Hopkins and defender Will Bell were noted for key performances, each credited with an assist in a match where neither attack could break through. The outcome defied a pregame projection that heavily favored a Bala Town victory, extending Llanelli Town’s winless streak.
