NDOLA, Zambia (Interstat) — Power Dynamos FC and visiting Rivers United FC played to a scoreless draw in a CAF Champions League group stage match Saturday at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.

The result left both clubs with identical records in the competition: 0 wins, 0 losses and 1 draw. The match defied pregame projections from Interstat, which gave the home side a 70.2% chance to win and simulated a 1-0 victory for Power Dynamos.

Substitutes provided the few notable chances. Rivers United’s Taofeek Otaniyi received a yellow card in the 15th minute. Power Dynamos’ David Sholumade was booked in the 66th. The stalemate extended each team’s winless start across all competitions this season.
