BIELLA, Italy (Interstat) — Juventus Women and Lazio Women played to a 0-0 draw in a Serie A Women match Sunday at Stadio Comunale Vittorio Pozzo Lamarmora.

The result defied pregame projections that heavily favored the home side. Neither attack broke through in a physical contest that saw Lazio’s Lindsey Thomas and Juventus substitute Federica Cafferata receive yellow cards in the 45th and 74th minutes, respectively.

The stalemate leaves both mid-table clubs with identical league records. Juventus now has five wins, five losses and one draw, while Lazio stands at six wins, four losses and one draw. The teams last met in October, a 1-0 Juventus victory.
