CONSTANTINE, Algeria (Interstat) — CS Constantine and MC El Bayadh played to a 1-1 draw in an Algerian Ligue 1 match Saturday at Stade Mohamed-Hamlaoui.

Substitute Dhiya Eddine Benyahia opened the scoring for the visiting side in the 59th minute. Constantine secured the equalizer late in stoppage time through midfielder Miloud Rebiai, who also assisted on the goal. The result was in line with the projection from Interstat’s game simulator, though Constantine had entered as a heavy favorite.

The draw leaves MC El Bayadh with just one win in 15 league matches this season. Constantine remains in the top half of the table. The match featured six yellow cards, with five issued in a contentious final 10 minutes.
