AL-MUHARRAQ, Bahrain (Interstat) — Muharraq delivered a stunning 7-0 victory over Bahrain SC in a Bahrain Premier League match Friday at Sheikh Ali bin Mohammed Stadium.

The match was effectively decided in a blistering opening half. Samy Frioui and Juninho Piauiense each scored twice within the first 10 minutes. Elliot Simões then added a first-half brace, including a free kick, before Soufiane Mahrouk scored just before halftime for a 6-0 lead.

Abdoul Karim Diarra and Facundo Tobares added second-half goals to complete the decisive result. The lopsided win defied statistical projections, which heavily favored Muharraq but forecast a far closer contest.

The victory improves Muharraq’s league record to nine wins. Bahrain SC’s struggles continued, falling to just two wins this Premier League season.
