MANAMA, Bahrain (Feb. 14, 2026) (Interstat) — Budaiya delivered a decisive 3-0 away victory over Bahrain SC on Saturday in a Premier League match at Madinat ’Isa Stadium, defying pre-game projections.

The visitors broke a scoreless deadlock with a second-half flurry. Daniel Asante opened the scoring in the 54th minute, followed by a headed goal from Adriano just seven minutes later in the 61st. Budaiya added a third goal late to seal the win.

The result was a surprise based on statistical models. Interstat’s game simulator had projected a 2-1 win for Bahrain SC, and its ELO system gave the home side a 58.7% probability to win.

With the win, Budaiya begins its league campaign at 1-0, while Bahrain SC starts 0-1.
