KALBA, United Arab Emirates (Interstat) — Ajman defeated Kalba SCC 3-1 on Saturday in an Arabian Gulf League match at Ittihad Kalba Club Stadium.

Substitute Oualid Azaro opened the scoring for the visitors in the 19th minute with a headed goal. The match remained tightly contested until second-half stoppage time, when midfielder Sékou Baba Gassama sealed the victory for Ajman with a left-footed strike in the 90+3rd minute. The fixture was a physical affair, featuring seven yellow cards issued between both sides.

The result improved Ajman’s league record to five wins, eight losses and two draws this season. Kalba SCC’s league mark fell to three wins, five losses and five draws. Ajman avenged a 1-0 loss to Kalba SCC from Jan. 3 in the teams’ previous meeting.
