TUNIS, Tunisia (Interstat) — Stade Tunisien and Monastir opened their domestic seasons with a 0-0 draw in Tunisian Ligue 1 play Friday at Stade Hedi Ennaifer.

The match failed to produce a goal despite a pregame projection favoring the hosts. Statistical models gave Stade Tunisien a 55.6% chance to win and predicted a 1-1 scoreline, but neither side could break through.

The result leaves both clubs with identical early records of 0 wins, 0 losses and 1 draw in league play, mirroring their overall records across all competitions this season. The match was the first of the campaign for each side.
