SAN JOSÉ, Costa Rica (March 4, 2026) (Interstat) — Herediano earned a 2-0 road victory over Guadalupe in a Primera División match Wednesday at Estadio CDI José Joaquín Colleya Fonseca.

Marcel Hernández opened the scoring for the visitors in the sixth minute, providing an early lead Herediano would not relinquish. The club added a second goal to secure the result, exacting a measure of revenge for a home loss to Guadalupe earlier in the season.

The win improves Herediano’s league record to 13 wins, 9 losses and 6 draws, solidifying its position in the upper half of the table. Guadalupe’s struggles continued, falling to 3 wins, 18 losses and 8 draws in league play.
