BUDAPEST, Hungary (Feb. 11, 2026) (Interstat) — Budapest Honved advanced in the Magyar Kupa with a 2-0 victory over Erzsebeti Spartacus MTK on Wednesday at Bozsik Aréna. The home side’s breakthrough came in the 60th minute when Ákos Baki scored. Zoltán Medgyes sealed the win with a goal in the 87th minute. Erzsebeti Spartacus MTK was shut out. The result defied a pre-match projection from Interstat’s game simulator, which had forecast a 1-0 win for the visitors. The same service’s ELO system, however, had heavily favored Honved with a 90.20% win probability. With the victory, Honved improved its record in the competition to 1 win and 0 losses, while Erzsebeti Spartacus MTK fell to 0 wins and 1 loss.
