ALTAMURA, Italy (Interstat) — Alessio Curcio’s 72nd-minute strike was the difference as Team Altamura defeated Foggia 1-0 on Thursday in a Serie C match at Stadio Comunale Tonino d’Angelo.

The lone goal broke a deadlock in a tightly contested fixture, delivering a crucial home victory for Altamura. The result defied the pregame projection from Interstat, whose simulator had forecast a 1-1 draw, though its ELO system heavily favored the hosts.
