BENEVENTO, Italy (Interstat) — Benevento and Latina played to a 1-1 draw in a Serie C match Saturday at Stadio Ciro Vigorito.

Latina’s Giacomo Parigi opened the scoring in the 10th minute. Benevento’s Marco Tumminello equalized in the 60th minute. The result extended Benevento’s strong league form, leaving them with 15 wins, 3 losses and 6 draws. Latina’s record moved to 4 wins, 9 losses and 8 draws. The draw followed a pregame projection for a tie, despite statistical models heavily favoring Benevento. The teams played to an identical scoreline in their previous meeting last October.
