Teuta Durres vs Vora

Preview: Teuta Durres Hosts Vora in Albanian Superliga Clash

TIRANA, Albania (Interstat) — Teuta Durres will look to maintain its recent dominance over visiting Vora when the sides meet in an Albanian Superliga match on Sunday.

The matchup at Niko Dovana Stadium comes just 15 days after the teams last faced each other, with Teuta securing a 2-0 home victory on Jan. 10. That result extended Teuta’s unbeaten run in the head-to-head series this season.

In the three meetings between the clubs this campaign, Teuta holds two wins and a draw. After a 1-1 draw in September, Teuta earned a 1-0 away win in November before this month’s more comfortable victory. Vora has failed to score in the last two encounters.

Current form, however, presents a more complex picture. Teuta (1-1-1 in its last three) is coming off a 2-1 road loss to Partizani Tirana on Monday. Prior to that, it had a scoreless draw with Dinamo City and the win over Vora.

Vora (1-1-1 in its last three) arrives following a 1-1 home draw with KF Tirana, also on Monday. That result was a bounce-back after a 1-0 away victory at Partizani Tirana on Jan. 15, which was itself a response to the loss to Teuta.

A broader view of the season shows both teams battling inconsistency. Vora’s results have swung from a 4-1 win to a 4-0 loss in recent weeks. Teuta has struggled for offensive consistency, scoring more than one goal only once in its last seven league matches.

According to Interstat’s game simulator, the most likely outcome is a 1-1 draw, suggesting a tightly contested match.

The result could impact the middle of the Superliga table. For Vora, it’s a chance to reverse a troubling trend against this opponent and build momentum before hosting Flamurtari next weekend. For Teuta, it’s an opportunity to solidify its upper-hand in the fixture and prepare for a visit from Vllaznia Shkoder the following Sunday.

Kickoff is set for Sunday afternoon in Durres.
