BALLSH, Albania (Interstat) — Host Bylis and Egnatia Rrogozhine opened their Albanian Superliga seasons with a 2-2 draw on Saturday at Stadiumi Adush Muça.

Egnatia Rrogozhine, which had been projected as a heavy favorite, twice took the lead but could not secure a win. Mohammed Yahaya scored in first-half stoppage time to give the visitors a 1-0 advantage. Bylis equalized six minutes after halftime on Arli Përgjoni’s goal. Egnatia Rrogozhine reclaimed the lead before Bylis leveled again late to share the points.

The result defied a pregame projection that gave Egnatia Rrogozhine a 76.4% probability of victory. Both teams are now 0-0-1 in league play.
