ROTTERDAM, Netherlands (Jan. 15, 2026) (Interstat) — Robert Mühren scored in stoppage time to give FC Volendam a 2-1 victory over Sparta Rotterdam in a KNVB Beker women’s football match Thursday at Sparta-Stadion Het Kasteel.

Substitute Brandley Kuwas opened the scoring for the visitors in the 13th minute. Sparta Rotterdam’s Ayoni Santos equalized in the 32nd. The match appeared headed for extra time until Mühren, also a substitute, netted the dramatic winner in the 91st minute.

The result defied pre-match projections, which heavily favored the home side. FC Volendam improved to 1-0 in the tournament, while Sparta Rotterdam fell to 0-1.
