PESCARA, Italy (Interstat) — Pescara routed Bari 4-0 on Sunday in a Serie B match at Stadio Adriatico-Giovanni Cornacchia.

Forward Antonio Di Nardo led the hosts with two goals and an assist. He opened the scoring in the 13th minute and added another in the 47th. Midfielder Luca Valzania scored the final goal in the 56th minute.

The lopsided result defied a pregame projection for a draw. Bari, which has won only twice in the league this season, failed to score and saw its winless streak extended.

Pescara improved its Serie B record to three wins, nine losses and seven draws. Bari’s league mark fell to two wins, nine losses and eight draws.
