MANTOVA, Italy (Interstat) — Mantova began its Serie B campaign with a 2-0 victory over Juve Stabia on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at Stadio Danilo Martelli.

Davide Bragantini opened the scoring in the 21st minute. Leonardo Mancuso doubled the lead just before halftime in the third minute of first-half stoppage time. The result defied a pregame projection from Interstat, which had simulated a 1-1 draw.

The match was marred by discipline issues. Juve Stabia’s Christian Pierobon received a red card in the 26th minute after an earlier yellow. The teams combined for 11 yellow cards overall.

With the win, Mantova starts the season with a win, while Juve Stabia begins with a loss.
