CESENA, Italy (Interstat) — Venezia delivered a dominant 4-0 away victory over Cesena in Serie B play Saturday at Orogel Stadium - Dino Manuzzi.

The visitors scored three times before halftime. Gianluca Busio opened the scoring in the 38th minute, followed by an Andrea Adorante goal in first-half stoppage time. Antoine Hainaut added a third in the 62nd minute.

All four Venezia goals came from substitutes, with Lion Lauberbach also netting. The result defied pregame projections that heavily favored a Cesena win or draw.

The win improves Venezia’s Serie B record to 10-3-4, solidifying its promotion pursuit. Cesena, struggling near the bottom of the table, falls to 2-5-5.
