KÖLN, Germany (Interstat) — Koeln W and SGS Essen played to a 0-0 draw in a Frauen Bundesliga match on Monday, Feb. 9, 2026, at Franz-Kremer-Stadion.

The result left both clubs with identical records in league play. The match defied pregame projections that heavily favored a Koeln victory.

A flurry of late yellow cards defined the contest’s conclusion, with eight issued overall. Four came in second-half stoppage time alone, including bookings for Koeln’s Laura Vogt and Leonie Köpp and Essen’s Kim Sindermann.

The stalemate marked the first draw of the season for each side across all competitions.
