ANNECY, France (Interstat) — FC Annecy earned a 2-1 comeback victory over Red Star in a Ligue 2 match Friday at Parc des Sports.

Thibault Rambaud opened the scoring for the visitors in the 49th minute. Annecy responded with Antoine Larose equalizing in the 74th and substitute Kevin Cabral netting the decisive goal eight minutes later. The match featured eight yellow cards.

The result avenges Annecy’s 1-0 loss to Red Star in August. Annecy improved its league record, while Red Star’s recent form dipped following a win last week. Both clubs now have 10 wins overall this season.
