KAPFENBERG, Austria (Interstat) — Liefering defeated Kapfenberger SV 4-1 on Saturday in a 2. Liga match at Alpenstadion Kapfenberg.

Bleron Krasniqi opened the scoring in the 20th minute. Jakob Zangerl doubled the lead three minutes later, and Oghenetejiri Adejenughure added a goal in the 44th minute to give the visitors a three-goal halftime advantage. Kapfenberger SV pulled one back in the second half, but Liefering sealed the victory with a fourth goal.

Yellow cards were issued to Jakob Pokorny in the 57th minute, Moritz Berg in the 58th, Thomas Maier in the 63rd and Adrian Marinović in the 81st.

Liefering improved to 10 wins, seven losses and nine draws in the competition. Kapfenberger SV fell to 7-14-9. The result avenged a 5-2 loss to Kapfenberger SV earlier this season, when Liefering won 5-2 on Nov. 7, 2025.
