ISTANBUL (Interstat) — Corum FM opened its 1. Lig season with a dramatic 2-1 away victory over Sariyer on Sunday, scoring the decisive goal deep into stoppage time at Yusuf Ziya Öniş Stadyumu. The visitors defied pre-match projections that heavily favored the hosts.

Metehan Mert secured the win for Corum FM in the 98th minute, breaking a 1-1 deadlock. The match was a physical contest featuring six yellow cards, with two issued in the 40th minute alone. The result marked a successful start for Corum FM in Turkish football’s second tier, while Sariyer began its campaign with a disappointing home loss.
