Boluspor vs Sariyer

BOLU, Turkiye (Interstat) — Substitute Moustafa Camara scored a second-half winner as Sariyer opened its 1. Lig campaign with a 2-1 comeback victory over Boluspor on Sunday at Bolu Atatürk Stadyumu.

The visiting side overturned a halftime deficit with two goals in a 19-minute span after the break, defying pregame projections that heavily favored the hosts. Interstat’s ELO system had given Boluspor a 69.6 percent probability to win, while its game simulator had predicted a 1-1 draw.

Boluspor, playing its second match of the league season, started brightly and was rewarded in the 28th minute. Forward Ibrahim Rasheed provided the assist for defender Loïc Kouagba, who found the net to give the home side a 1-0 lead. That advantage held until the stroke of halftime, sending the hosts into the break with confidence.

Sariyer emerged from the interval with renewed purpose and found a quick equalizer. Just four minutes into the second half, in the 49th minute, another defender scored, as Sariyer’s Devran Şenyurt set up substitute Emeka Friday Eze to level the match at 1-1.

The momentum had decisively shifted, and Sariyer completed the turnaround in the 64th minute. Camara, who had also entered the match as a substitute, delivered the decisive blow, scoring the goal that put the visitors ahead 2-1.

Boluspor pushed for an equalizer in the final half-hour but could not break down a resolute Sariyer defense. The match grew tense in the closing minutes, resulting in a pair of yellow cards. Sariyer’s goal-scoring assistant, Ibrahim Rasheed, was booked in the 88th minute, followed by Boluspor’s Devran Şenyurt in the fourth minute of stoppage time.

The result gives Sariyer a perfect start to its 1. Lig season, moving its record to 1-0-0. Across all competitions, Sariyer is also 1-0-0. For Boluspor, the loss marks a setback after a winning start to the league campaign last week. Its 1. Lig record falls to 1-1-0, with an identical 1-1-0 mark across all competitions.

Boluspor will have a quick turnaround to seek redemption, as its schedule shows a match against Yeni Malatyaspor next Sunday, Jan. 18, 2026. Sariyer, meanwhile, will look to build on its momentum when the league schedule resumes next weekend.
