QUITO, Ecuador (Interstat) — LDU Quito earned a 2-0 victory over Universidad Católica in a Liga Pro match Sunday at Estadio Rodrigo Paz Delgado.

Forward Michael Estrada scored both goals for the hosts, finding the net in the 24th and 51st minutes. His brace was assisted by midfielders José Quintero and Bryan Ramírez, and substitute Rooney Troya.

The result improved LDU Quito to a perfect record in league play this season, while Univ. Católica remains winless. The visitors were held without a goal, defying a pregame statistical projection that had forecast a 1-1 draw. Three yellow cards were issued in the second half.
