LANCY, Switzerland (Interstat) — Servette and Sion II played to a 0-0 draw in a Super League match Saturday at Stade de Genève.

The result defied pregame projections that heavily favored a Servette victory. Both teams struggled to generate offense in the stalemate. The match featured five yellow cards, with Sion II’s Houboulang Mendes receiving the first in the 35th minute.

Servette’s season record in the competition moved to 6-9-8, while Sion II’s mark now stands at 5-3-6. The teams played to a 3-3 draw in their previous meeting on Jan. 31.
