LEÓN, Guanajuato (April 18, 2026) (Interstat) — León opened its Liga MX season with a 3-1 victory over Finland’s FC JJK Jyvaskyla on Saturday at Estadio León. Forward Ismael Díaz powered the win with two first-half goals, scoring in the 30th minute and again in stoppage time just before halftime.

Midfielder Daniel Arcila extended the lead to 3-0 in the 68th minute. The visiting side managed a late consolation goal from substitute Óscar Estupiñán.
