Queretaro vs Toluca
Preview: Queretaro Hosts Toluca in Liga MX Clash
QUERETARO, Mexico (Interstat) — Two teams trending in opposite directions will meet Saturday when Queretaro hosts Toluca in a Liga MX match at Estadio Corregidora.
The visiting Diablos Rojos of Toluca enter the contest in strong form, having lost only once in their last 10 matches across all competitions. That run includes a comprehensive 4-0 victory over this same Queretaro side on Oct. 18, 2025. Toluca (5-4-3) is coming off a 1-1 draw with Pachuca on March 22 and has shown a potent attack, scoring three or more goals in four of its recent outings.
In contrast, Queretaro (2-5-4) is mired in an offensive drought. The Gallos Blancos have failed to score in four consecutive league matches, including a 0-0 draw with Atlas on March 21. Their last win came on Feb. 7, a 2-0 result over Leon. The team’s most recent performance, a 4-0 loss to Monterrey on March 4, highlighted its current struggles.
The statistical service Interstat projects a 1-1 draw for Saturday’s match. History, however, heavily favors Toluca, which dominated the last encounter.
Toluca’s balanced attack and sturdy defense, which has kept three clean sheets in its last five Liga MX games, will challenge a Queretaro side desperate to rediscover its scoring touch. The home team’s defense has been marginally more reliable, but its inability to generate goals has left it consistently dropping points.
Following this match, Toluca’s schedule remains congested, with a match against Atletico San Luis looming on April 12. Queretaro faces a quick turnaround, scheduled to visit Tigres UANL on Sunday, April 5.
Kickoff is set for 5 p.m. local time Saturday at Estadio Corregidora.
