Pachuca vs Atlas

PACHUCA, Mexico (Interstat) — Pachuca will host Atlas on Saturday in a Liga MX match pitting a home side favored by statistical models against a visiting team carrying recent momentum.

The game at Estadio Hidalgo is scheduled for Feb. 14, 2026.

Pachuca (3-5-2, W-L-D) enters the match following a scoreless draw at Queretaro on Feb. 1. Their form has been inconsistent, with just one win in their last five league matches dating to late October. That victory, however, was a decisive 3-0 statement against this same Atlas side last Aug. 9 in Guadalajara.

Atlas (4-5-1), meanwhile, brings a two-game winning streak into the contest. The Foxes secured a 1-0 home victory over Mazatlan on Jan. 31, preceded by a 1-0 road win at Necaxa on Jan. 17. This recent resilience marks an upturn for a team that struggled through a five-match winless streak in the fall.

Statistical projections present a conflicting outlook. Interstat’s game simulator predicts a 1-1 draw. Yet, the same service’s ELO rating system gives Pachuca a 73.6% probability of winning outright, highlighting the perceived strength of the hosts at their stadium.

The historical head-to-head result from August looms large, but Atlas will aim to prove that result is no longer reflective of its current defensive solidity.

For Pachuca, the match begins a challenging stretch that includes a trip to Tigres UANL on Feb. 20. Atlas will look to continue its climb before hosting Atletico San Luis on Feb. 21.

Saturday’s contest will test whether Atlas’s newfound defensive resolve can withstand a Pachuca attack that has shown potency at home, or if the hosts can translate statistical favoritism into three points.
