BRUSSELS (Interstat) — Anderlecht and visiting Louviere Centre played to a 0-0 draw in a Belgian First Division A match Sunday at Lotto Park.

The result, a significant defensive stand for lower-table Louviere Centre, defied pregame projections that heavily favored Anderlecht. The match was a physical affair, producing six yellow cards, all issued to substitutes in the second half. Marcos Peano was booked earliest in the 6th minute.

The draw leaves Anderlecht with 10 wins, 8 losses and 7 draws in league play. Louviere Centre’s season record in the competition now stands at 5 wins, 10 losses and 7 draws. The teams last met in November, a 1-0 Anderlecht victory.
