Sporting Oud-Heverlee vs Dender

Preview: Sporting Oud-Heverlee Hosts Dender in Belgian First Division A Clash

LEUVEN, Belgium (Interstat) — Sporting Oud-Heverlee will look to build on a statement victory when it hosts a struggling Dender side in a Belgian First Division A match on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2026.

The home side enters with momentum following a surprising 3-1 away win against Gent on Feb. 7. That result, part of a three-match unbeaten run that also includes draws with Mechelen and Union St-Gilloise, has solidified Oud-Heverlee’s mid-table standing.

In contrast, Dender is mired in a difficult spell, having lost its last two matches without scoring. A 1-0 defeat at Zultearegem on Feb. 7 followed a 2-1 home loss to Genk. Dender has managed just one win in its last eight league outings, a stretch that includes heavy defeats to top sides like Club Brugge and Union St-Gilloise.

The head-to-head history favors Oud-Heverlee, which earned a 1-0 victory at Dender in their most recent meeting on Aug. 24, 2025.

Dender’s primary concern is a lack of offensive production, having been shut out in four of its last five First Division A contests. Oud-Heverlee’s defense, which has conceded only three goals in its last four matches across all competitions, will be confident of extending that drought.

However, Oud-Heverlee has shown inconsistency at home this season, with recent results including a draw and a loss at their Den Dreef stadium. Dender will aim to exploit that vulnerability as it desperately seeks points to distance itself from the relegation zone.

According to Interstat’s game simulator, the match is projected to end in a 1-1 draw.

Following this fixture, Oud-Heverlee faces a daunting trip to league powerhouse Anderlecht on Feb. 28. Dender’s schedule offers a brief respite, with a match against First Division B side Beerschot also slated for Feb. 14, before resuming top-flight play at home against Sint-Truiden on Feb. 21.

Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. local time at Den Dreef Stadium.
