BANGKOK (Interstat) — Port FC opened its Thai League 1 season with a commanding 3-0 win over Prachuap at PAT Stadium on Saturday, April 4, 2026, defying pre-match projections.

Noboru Shimura opened the scoring in the 28th minute, followed quickly by defender Suphanan Bureerat’s goal three minutes later. Midfielder Peeradol Chamrasamee sealed the victory with a goal in the sixth minute of second-half stoppage time, adding an assist earlier.

The result gave Port FC a winning start to both its league campaign and overall season, while Prachuap began with a loss. The outcome contrasted sharply with statistical models that had favored the visitors.
