RAYONG, Thailand (Interstat) — Substitute Jordan Emaviwe’s 88th-minute goal salvaged a 1-1 draw for visiting Chiangrai against Rayong in Thai League 1 play on Sunday.

Emaviwe, who entered the match as a substitute, finished a chance created by fellow substitute Victor to cancel out Rayong’s opener. The home side had taken the lead in the 33rd minute when Stenio Junior scored off an assist from João Afonso.

The match at Rayong Stadium was a physical affair, producing five yellow cards. The result leaves both teams in the lower half of the table. Chiangrai now has five wins, 10 draws and three losses. Rayong sits at four wins, 10 draws and five losses in league play.
