ATHENS (Interstat) — Kifisias and OFI played to a 2-2 draw in their Super League 1 opener Sunday at Dimotiko Gipedo Neapolis Nikaias.

The match featured a frantic start with two goals in the first eight minutes. OFI substitute Athanasios Androutsos opened the scoring in the fourth minute, but Kifisias substitute Taxiarchis Fountas equalized just four minutes later. OFI midfielder Lazare Amani put the visitors ahead again in the 19th minute. Kifisias secured the draw through forward Dimitris Theodoridis in the 74th minute.

The result defied pre-match projections that heavily favored OFI. Five yellow cards were issued in the physical contest. Both clubs begin the Greek top-flight season with identical records across all competitions.
