Kaohsiung County Taipower vs Hang Yuan
Preview: Kaohsiung County Taipower Hosts Hang Yuan in Taiwan Premier League Clash
KAOHSIUNG COUNTY, Taiwan (Interstat) — A tightly contested Taiwan Football Premier League match is projected Sunday when Kaohsiung County Taipower hosts Hang Yuan.
The Interstat game simulator predicts a 1-1 draw, a result that would mirror the teams’ last meeting. They played to a 1-1 stalemate on Sept. 21.
Sunday’s match at Kaohsiung County’s home venue will feature two sides with contrasting recent form entering the final stretch of the 2025 season.
Hang Yuan arrives with momentum, unbeaten in its last four matches. That streak includes a decisive 7-0 victory over Ming Chuan University on Nov. 30 and a 2-1 win over TFAFuturo last Sunday, Dec. 7. The team’s attack has been potent, scoring 13 goals in those four games.
In contrast, Kaohsiung County Taipower seeks to rebound from a loss. It fell 2-1 at home to Taichung Rock last Sunday, part of a difficult recent stretch. The team has only one win in its last five league matches, a 4-3 victory over Ming Chuan University on Oct. 26.
The season series has been even. Beyond the September draw, Hang Yuan secured a 2-1 win over Tatung on Sept. 28, while Taipower suffered a 2-1 loss to Tatung on Nov. 2.
Hang Yuan’s road form has been strong, with three wins and a draw in its last four away fixtures. Kaohsiung County Taipower has found results harder to secure at home lately, with two losses in its last three home matches.
The outcome could hinge on which team controls the midfield and capitalizes on limited chances, as suggested by the low-scoring projection. For Hang Yuan, maintaining its offensive rhythm is key. For Taipower, shoring up its defense after conceding multiple goals in recent losses will be a priority.
Following this match, Hang Yuan will visit Tatung on Dec. 21. Kaohsiung County Taipower will host TFAFuturo the same day.
Kickoff is scheduled for Sunday afternoon, Dec. 14, in Kaohsiung County.
