Chelsea Dominates Charlton in Women’s FA Cup Rout
LONDON (Interstat) — Chelsea FC delivered a stunning 5-1 victory over Charlton Athletic FC in the Women’s FA Cup on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2026, at The Valley, defying pregame projections.
Interstat’s systems heavily favored the home side, giving Charlton a 65.3 percent win probability and projecting a narrow 1-0 Chelsea win. Instead, Chelsea scored four second-half goals in a commanding display.
Jorrel Hato opened the scoring in first-half stoppage time. Tosin Adarabioyo, Miles Leaburn, Marc Guiu and Pedro Neto added goals after the break. Charlton’s lone reply came from Leaburn in the 57th minute. Chelsea’s Greg Docherty and Benoît Badiashile each recorded an assist. Both players also received yellow cards in the first half.
