LÁRNAKA, Cyprus (Jan. 11, 2026) (Interstat) — Anorthosis began its 1. Division campaign with a 1-0 home victory over Ethnikos Achna on Sunday at Stadio Antonis Papadopoulos.

The lone goal defied a pre-match projection from Interstat, whose simulator had forecast a 2-1 scoreline. Its ELO system had given Anorthosis an 86% probability to win. The result gives Anorthosis a winning start in domestic play, while Ethnikos Achna opens its season with a loss. Both clubs’ early season records mirror this single result across all competitions.
