STARA PAZOVA, Serbia (Interstat) — Montenegro’s under-19 women’s national team delivered a stunning 5-0 victory over Armenia on Saturday in a UEFA U19 Championship qualification match, defying pregame projections that heavily favored the visitors. Midfielder Maša Tomašević led the offensive explosion with a first-half hat trick, scoring in the 20th, 29th and 43rd minutes at Sportski Centar Fudbalskog Saveza Srbije. Forwards Darija Čižek and Nađa Doknić added a goal each. The result was a surprise after Interstat’s models gave Armenia U19 a 53.7 percent probability to win and projected a 2-1 scoreline in its favor. The win gives Montenegro a winning start to its qualifying campaign.
