SEOUL, South Korea (Interstat) — A crucial K League 2 fixture is set for Thursday as rivals Seoul E-Land and Seongnam clash in a tightly contested promotion race.

The match at Seoul’s Mokdong Stadium pits two of the division’s hottest teams against each other. Seoul E-Land (10-11-3) is riding a wave of momentum, coming off a stunning 6-0 rout of Ansan Greeners on Sunday. The Leopards are undefeated in their last six matches, a streak that includes a 2-0 victory over this same Seongnam side on Oct. 3.

Seongnam (10-9-5), however, has been nearly as impressive, winning four of its last five contests. Its most recent result was a 2-1 comeback victory over Busan I-Park. The Magpies’ only loss in that stretch was the defeat to Seoul E-Land.

The head-to-head series this season has been a tale of home dominance. The home team has won all three previous meetings in 2025, with Seoul E-Land taking a 2-1 win at Seongnam on May 4, and Seongnam returning the favor with a 1-0 win in Seoul on July 19.
