RANCAGUA, Chile (Interstat) — Huachipato and Deportes Limache played to a 1-1 draw in a Copa Chile group stage match Wednesday at Estadio CODELCO-El Teniente.

Deportes Limache’s Facundo Pons opened the scoring in the 63rd minute. Huachipato equalized deep in second-half stoppage time when Carlos Villanueva scored in the sixth added minute. The result matched the pregame projection from Interstat’s simulator. Its ELO rating system had given Huachipato a 53% probability to win.

Both clubs opened their Copa Chile campaigns with a draw and remain unbeaten across all competitions this season. The match was contested in Rancagua, a neutral site, despite Huachipato being the designated home team.
