MAPUTO, Mozambique (Interstat) — Ferro Nampulo hosts Costa do Sol in a Moçambola league fixture on Saturday, with the visitors looking to build on a recent derby victory and the home side aiming to rebound from a heavy defeat.

The matchup at Ferro Nampulo’s home ground comes just three days after each team played in domestic competition. Ferro Nampulo (X-X-X) is looking to recover from a 4-2 road loss to Chingale de Tete on Wednesday. Costa do Sol (X-X-X) enters with momentum after a 2-1 home win over Ferro Maputo on Monday.

The teams played to a 1-1 draw in their most recent meeting on Aug. 11.

Costa do Sol’s form has been inconsistent, with a win, a loss and two draws in its last four matches. The club has struggled to score, being shut out in four of its last six outings.

Ferro Nampulo has lost three of its last four matches, conceding multiple goals in each of those defeats. Its last win was a 1-0 victory over Textafrica on Oct. 18.

According to the Interstat game simulator, the most likely outcome for Saturday’s contest is a 1-1 draw.
