MAPUTO, Mozambique (Interstat) — Songo will look to continue its dominant form and complete a league double over rival Ferro Maputo when the two sides meet in a Moçambola fixture on Thursday.

The match at Songo’s home ground comes just three weeks after the hosts earned a 1-0 victory over Ferro Maputo on Nov. 5. The season series is split, however, with Ferro Maputo claiming a 3-2 home win in their June encounter.

Songo enters the match in strong condition, riding a wave of positive results. The team is unbeaten in its last 10 league matches, a streak that includes a 1-0 road victory over Ferro Beira last Saturday. Their attack has been potent, scoring four or more goals in four of those contests.

Conversely, Ferro Maputo is seeking to rebound from a 2-1 loss to Costa do Sol on Monday. The visitors have struggled for consistency, with their Nov. 5 loss to Songo part of a recent run of form that includes just one win in their last five outings.

According to Interstat’s game simulator, Songo is projected to secure another 1-0 victory.

The match is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 27, 2025. Ferro Maputo faces a quick turnaround, as they are slated to play at Baia de Pemba the following day.
