WASHINGTON (Interstat) — Mitchell Baker scored both goals to power the Georgetown Hoyas to a 2-0 victory over the UCF Knights in an NCAA men’s soccer match Sunday. Baker’s two-goal performance, supported by assists from Aidan Godinho, Max Viera and Mateo Ponce Ocampo, secured the home win before a crowd of 1,107. The Hoyas’ defense held firm for the clean sheet, handing UCF its third loss of the season. The result defied the pregame projection from Interstat, which had simulated a 1-1 draw.
