EAST LANSING, Mich. (Interstat) — Bella Najera scored two goals to lead Michigan State W past Colorado W 2-1 in an NCAA women’s soccer match Sunday.

Najera provided all the offense the Spartans needed in front of 1,898 fans. Defender Sofia Beerworth recorded an assist for Michigan State. The Spartans improved to 8-2-3, while the Buffaloes moved to 13-3-3. The result avenged a 1-1 draw between the teams from their season opener in August.
