BUENOS AIRES (Interstat) — Excursionistas hosts Argentino Merlo on Friday, Nov. 21, 2025, in a Primera B Metropolitana match, with the visitors looking to complete a season sweep.

Argentino Merlo (5-6) earned a 2-1 home victory over Excursionistas (4-7) when the clubs last met on July 5. The visitors, however, are looking to rebound from a 4-2 home loss to CA Brown on Nov. 16 that snapped a two-match winning streak. Their recent form has been inconsistent, with three losses in their last five outings.

Excursionistas also enters the contest seeking to end a skid, having lost its last two matches. It fell 2-1 to Villa D’Almine on Nov. 15 and was shut out 1-0 by Flandria the week prior. The club’s last victory was a 5-1 road win over Fenix on Nov. 2.

According to projections from Interstat, Argentino Merlo is the clear favorite. The game simulator predicts a 4-1 victory for the visitors, while its ELO rating system gives Argentino Merlo a 55.20 percent probability of winning the match.

The Primera B Metropolitana is the third-tier division within the Argentine football league system.
