OSWESTRY, Wales (Dec. 6, 2025) (Interstat) — The New Saints opened their League Cup campaign with a 2-1 victory over Llandudno at Park Hall Stadium on Saturday.

Dan Williams put the hosts ahead in the 19th minute, but Jordan Williams equalized for the visitors eight minutes later. Callum Stephens scored the decisive goal for The New Saints just before halftime in the 47th minute. The result matched a pregame projection by Interstat, whose simulator forecast a 2-0 win and gave the Saints a 95.9% probability to win.

The New Saints improved to 1-0 in the competition and overall this season. Llandudno fell to 0-1 in both the League Cup and across all competitions.
