SOFIA, Bulgaria (Interstat) — PFK CSKA Sofia defeated city rival Lokomotiv Sofia 2-1 in a Bulgarian Cup match Saturday at Stadion Vasil Levski.

Spas Delev opened the scoring for Lokomotiv in the sixth minute, but CSKA Sofia responded with a first-half equalizer from Sadio Dembélé in the 29th. Bruno Jordão netted the decisive goal for the home side in the 69th minute. The result defied a pre-match projection from Interstat’s ELO system, which heavily favored Lokomotiv Sofia.

CSKA Sofia remains perfect in the cup competition, improving to 2-0, while Lokomotiv Sofia evens its tournament record at 1-1.
