LUBBOCK, Texas (Interstat) — Taylor Zdrojewski and Peyton Parsons each scored a goal to lead Texas Tech past Texas-San Antonio 2-1 in an NCAA women’s soccer match Friday. The Lady Raiders improved to 13-2-6 overall, while the Roadrunners fell to 7-5-3. An announced crowd of 1,299 at the Texas Tech soccer complex saw the home side secure the victory. Kate Leibel, Sam Courtwright and Macy Blackburn were credited with assists for Texas Tech. The result surpassed a national statistical projection that had favored the Lady Raiders by a narrower margin.
