SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Spain (Interstat) — Granada advanced in the Copa del Rey Juvenil with a 1-0 victory over CD Tenerife on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at Estadio Heliodoro Rodríguez López.

Substitute Rubén Alcaraz scored the game’s only goal in the 61st minute, completing a comeback assisted by Diego Iturralde. The result defied pre-match projections that heavily favored the home side.

Granada remained undefeated in the tournament at 2-0. Tenerife moved to 1-1. The match featured six yellow cards, issued to players from both sides.

The outcome contrasted sharply with statistical forecasts, which had given Granada a 65 percent win probability but simulated a 4-0 victory for Tenerife.
